Can you sail?
Youth/Leader: If not then come on down and we will teach you, In 4 days you can normally sail well enough to crew with an experienced sailor or sail in one of the 5 scout regattas.
Leader: Are you a secion leader? Why now become an endorsed activity guide with sailing and work sailing into your yearly program.
AGE: 13 Year's and older, The course teaches rigging and we are are sailing boats that require at least a teenagers strength to coontrol the main sheet, hoist the main sail. Move the boats to the water.

Sailing and Power Boat Unit Unit Leaders are scouters from all sections of of the scout movement including the adventurous activity units.
Sailing is aimed at the older scouts, venturers, rovers and leaders.
Regatta's : For those who have the basics of sailing then why not try your hand at racing. There are 5 regattas planned throughout the year. See the events for the dates and locations.
