The founder of Whitehorse Showtime, Rod Savage OAM has been awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia.

In the Australian Honours System appointments to the Order of Australia confer the highest recognition for outstanding achievement and service. The Medal of the Order of Australia is awarded for service worthy of particular recognition and is conferred by the Governor-General of Australia.
