Have you seen a Hall with a big, colourful sign out the front, giving the details of the Group(s), meeting times, contact details? Or one advertising an event? Ever wonder how they manage to get a sign and your Hall doesn't?

There is no secret to it; you just have to ask.

First, contact your local real estate agent(s) to see if they're interested in helping to promote Scouting in your area.  They receive these requests all the time and will know the local by-laws. They will be able to tell you if they can place a sign on your site, once they know who owns the site.

This won't be the first time they've been asked to assist with this type of promotion - most of these signs are done through estate agents. They are usually very enthusiastic to co-brand within their communities, especially with a well known organisation like Scouting.

Once they agree, send in the Agent's contact details This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to us with information about your Group.

We can tailor the sign to change the wording and pictures (if you have some great ones, send them to us to use). Let us know what you want to sign to show - the Group's contact details or maybe a major event, Christmas Tree sales or other suitable information.

We will then discuss the details such as format and size with the agent, provide you with a proof and then send the artwork to the Agent to finish and install it for you.

These signs can promote the Group and the fun of Scouting. Here is an example of a sign put up by a local real estate agent for 1st/8th Blackburn and the design was done by us at Victorian Branch.  All for free!
