Even in spite of the damp weather over the weekend, this year's Knox festival was very successful. We made contact with 32 families who are interested in their child joining as a youth member, and possibly two new leaders.

In addition, there were many children who climbed the junior climbing wall, or who stamped on the paper show bags before taking them home.

There were also many adults who took advantage of the tea and coffee hospitality (and a seat) in the Parents' Retreat, and there were thousands of people who walked past the Scout City activity on their way to the community stage or the other festival stalls.

So, a great big thank you to all the Leaders, Rovers and Venturers who helped out in one way or another (and the Rover Mudbash car Evil Weevil). Many thanks to everyone who assisted in promoting Scouting - it is always invaluable.
