Operation Cache is a Geo-caching competition to find as many caches as you can, in a four hour time limit. It is open to teams from Cubs through to Rovers and Leaders.

Cubs, Scouts and Venturers need to be in teams of 4-6. Cub teams must be accompanied by a leader or designated parent supervisor. Rover and Leader teams need to be in teams of 2-4 people.

Date: 1st April 2012

Time: Registration opens at 8.30am for a 9.00am start. There will be presentations of trophies and prizes followed by a BBQ lunch.

Location: Start and finish is on the Boyds Field at Gilwell Park, near Gembrook. 

Training & Equipment: Training will be provided to anyone that needs it. We can even lend you a GPS unit if you don't have access to one.

For those teams that want to arrive on Saturday afternoon, we are planning to camp at Gilwell Park on Saturday night, have a spit roast and do a night caching activity as well. Teams staying overnight will need to have a warranted leader or designated supervising adult stay with them to take up this offer.
