The Scout Heritage Victoria museum at Como Avenue South Yarra closed in May 2016.

UPDATE: - 21 November 2016

Our collection has now been relocated to 62A Mackie Road in East Benteligh from Como in South Yarra. We say goodbye to our 15 years at South Yarra and thank Stonnington City Council for the use of the premises during this time.

The Mackie Road site is undergoing some major works with the main hall now being painted and an Exhibition Lighting system being installed by the end of 2016.

Our Team of volunteers are working on a series of new exhibits in an "open style"  exhibition hall, which is vastly different to the five roomsof displays which we had a Como.

The new exhibits will offer insights into a range of themes on the History of Scouting in Victoria and have a focus around yesterday's Scouts and what Scouting offers our youth members today.

The "Museum on Mackie" will be one of the Youth Activity Adventure Centres where youth members (and leaders) will be able to come and explore and participate in our interactive displays, as well use the visit to have parts of the Award Scheme badges signed off for all sections.

Here is a sneak preview of one of our new themes of a old style Scout campsite with a "realistic" cooking fire, thanks to a kind donation from one of our sponsors, GlenDimplex.
