Overview
Gilwell Park Recreation Camp is a 157 hectare property owned by the Scout Association of Australia (Victorian Branch) providing many facilities suitable for a wide range of group needs, for example:
- Conferences
- Training Programs
- School and Youth Camps
- One day outdoor activities.
Although its primary function is providing training and activities for Scout adult and youth members, its accommodation and facilities are equally suitable for school and youth groups as well as adult organisations and programs. Gilwell Park is located near Gembrook in a picturesque setting, forested mainly with peppermint, messmate and gum eucalypts, and contains beautiful fern gullies with fast flowing streams. Bird life is abundant. The Location menu item above, shows the different ways to access Gilwell Park from Melbourne and maps of the site.
- We welcome groups of any size.
- Full catering is available for groups of up to 80 at reasonable prices.
- You may self cater in one or more of several kitchens.
- All buildings, except huts, have wheelchair access.
