Caving
Who can go?
Must be members of the Scout Association:
* Adult Leaders
* Scout Fellowship members
* Rovers
* Venturer Units
* Scout Troops
Caving Leaders
Are Scouters, from all Sections of the movement:
* Some are primarily Activity Leaders
* Others are active Section Leaders who assist at least three times per year.
* Rovers and Venturers can also train to be Cavers.
Training:
Firstly, come on a weekend or one day trip with us to see how we operate with groups underground. We run specialized training courses in July and November each year ( click on the TRAINING tab above.)
Award Schemes:
Caving Activities can be enjoyed purely for interest, or used to achieve various awards or badges.
* Scout Caving Badge
* Venturer Endeavour Award,
* Venturer Outdoors 1 & 2 Awards
* Duke of Edinburgh Awards
Why do it ? :
Caving is fun, different, safe, very interesting, and something your mates haven’t done !
